This website, and Anxiety Soothers the book, offer a variety of different tools. Some people will come away with Just One Thing that helps them—and that’s enough! One tool in the tool belt is so much better than none. Fortified with relevant information, comforted by kindly words, refreshed by awareness that you are not alone in your suffering, it is possible that doing even One Thing Differently will truly help. That has been my experience. I’ve read all the texts—and I’ll continue to do so—but what truly HELPS my anxiety is when I DO something fairly simple and basic, such as any of the visualizations, activities and body cues on this website and in Anxiety Soothers, the book.

I welcome your helpful suggestions and while I'll appreciate all of them, I will post the ones that seem particularly useful. Thank you!
